Junior Observing Session

Calling all budding astronomers, join us for our special Junior Observing Session.

If you have any little curious minds with endless questions about space why not join another one of our special Junior Observing Sessions, at the Beaghmore Stone Circles.

Designed for little ones, we’ll have child-friendly telescopes set up to look at the Full Moon! Right beside the Moon will be the ringed planet Saturn which we will be able to look at using telescopes and binoculars, as well as helping little ones to learn some of the constellations here at this ancient stone site.

Observing is weather dependent. In the event of poor weather an alternative activity will take place indoors. This event is designed for primary school age, but all ages are welcome. Ticket price is per child and observing is designed for children only.

This event takes place outdoors at the Beaghmore Stone Circles during darkness, please bring a torch preferably with red light and wrap up warm!
