Guided tours and events

To book tickets for the OM Exhibition Guided Tours and events:


Ticket payment

Payments can be made by cash*, debit and credit card. Tickets can only be confirmed on receipt of payment.  *Only at OM Reception.


Opening hours

Monday to Thursday
11am – 7pm

Friday and Saturday
11am – 7pm (April to September)

11am – 9pm (October to March)

Sunday
11am – 7pm

Times may vary during public holidays. Please check our opening hours.


Refund policy

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded except where a tour/event has been cancelled. Mid Ulster District Council reserves the right to alter or cancel tour/events without prior notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.


Latecomers policy

Please note that all tours and events start sharply at the time given on your ticket and as advertised. Out of consideration for other visitors, latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable point in the tour or event if possible. This policy will be strictly enforced by the Duty Officer and we will appreciate your cooperation.


Concessions

Where applicable, concession rates are available and are detailed within the relevant tour or event information. Concession rates apply to those under 16 years and over 60 years of age.

OM is suitable for children. All children under the age of 2 are admitted free to the Exhibition. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied at all times by an adult over the age of 18. Parents with young children are welcome at OM. Buggies may be taken into the Exhibition area and via lift to the Observatory.

For concession tickets, photo identification will be required for proof of age. Concession rates may also be available for school groups. Schools should contact OM reception for more information.


General terms and conditions

  • All patrons to the OM Exhibition must be in possession of a valid ticket, including children.
  • Mobile phones must be switched off during tours and events.
  • Patrons are not permitted to take food or drink into the exhibition area.
  • OM is a non-smoking facility and smoking or the use of E-cigs or vapourisers is strictly prohibited within the building.
  • The personal details required to administer your booking will be securely stored by Mid Ulster District Council. Please see our privacy policy for more information.
  • Facilities are provided for people with access requirements and disabilities, including a Changing Places facility and lift to access the Observatory.

Limitation of liability

OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory has taken every care in compiling information and material for this website. However, this information should not be relied upon as a substitute for formal advice from originating departments of Mid Ulster District Council or its partners. We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of an inaccuracy or error contained on this website.
